Mister A’s

A restaurant that every person in San Diego knows of. Talked about for their views, the food, ambiance and so much more! Whispered as the place to go in San Diego for 60 years, the view from their roof is instantly recognized on any person’s Instagram. When we walked in we had an idea of what to expect, walking through a few architect firms and past a guard station wasn’t on the itinerary, but after going up the elevator and walking into the front of the restaurant you know you’re in a place that’s in a league of its own. We sat directly on the railing of the roof top overlooking all of downtown San Diego. We could see the ships at the Coronado Naval Base, the planes coming in for landing gliding between the buildings, an view that can’t be beat. The food was so good the only thing you could hear was silver wear scratching against the plates and the faint roar of 747 engines. Caviar tater tots should be seen as an oxymoron and we ordered them almost out of pure curiosity but was possibly the hit of the night!

Notes: Business Casual dress code but there is nothing casual about Mister A’s. If you haven’t been, its something you definitely have to fix!
