Beeside Balcony

We’ve talked about a lot of great places from the list, but sometimes they’re not all home runs. Beeside Balcony is one of those places that maybe we just ordered the wrong things. A small place with a tiny parking lot behind the restaurant, it had all the right vibes to be an amazing stop on our list. The drinks were good and it was calm and chill slightly overlooking Del Mar through one of those plastic awnings that you can see through but gave the impression you had a giant stigmatism in your eye. We had started with the ceviche and it was pretty good but you could probably find better from a Mexican grandmother in the parking lot of a Mexican grocery store or roach coach. We had the Barramundi and the scallops as our entrees and while good, for both of us was a little too salty, and coming from myself, who likes salt it was almost too much for even myself.
